Zealand "Ben" Goss Jr.

Mr. Zealand (Ben) Goss, Jr., 84, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Piedmont Health in Macon, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with visitation from 2 to 3 p.m. before the service begins. Rev. Blake Westbrook will officiate.  Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Goss was born on a snow-covered day in Pulaski County, Georgia on January 23, 1940. Ben grew up in Hawkinsville and graduated from Hawkinsville High Class of 1958.  He was a member of Browndale Baptist Church and a member of the local National Guard.  Mr. Goss retired from Crown, Cork & Seal Co.  He enjoyed good friends, car racing and football. He was preceded by his parents, Zealand and Pearl Goss, Sr.; nephew, Michael Belflower and great nephew Samuel Belflower.

Survivors include a sister, Gail Lunsford of Hawkinsville, Georgia; niece, Leah (Rusty) Faulk of Valrico, Florida; nephew, Bradley (Stephanie) Belflower of Dalla, Georgia; several great nephews, nieces and cousins.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
