William Dennis Edwards

Mr. William Dennis Edwards, 76, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Landmark Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024 in the Clark Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Chris Holdorf officiating. Mr. Edwards was a native of Detroit, Michigan and a member of the Morgan Baptist Church of Morgan, Georgia. He was a retired Navy Veteran and an Air Traffic Controller. William was preceded in death by his parents, William Arthur and Madelyn Willemn Edwards; daughter, Denise Marie Edwards; brother, Pat Edwards and sister Marlen Edwards. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Ann Edwards of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughters, Christine Edwards, Ranae Connelley, Julie Rausch, Patricia Bristow, Elizabeth Latham, Beverly Graham, Michelle Graham; brothers, Ron Edwards, Dave Edwards, Chris Edwards, Bobby Edwards; sisters, Marcia Bennett, Maureen Hawes, Michelle Edwards; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
