Velma Inez Bennett

Mrs. Velma Inez Bennett, 84, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 in Pinewood Manor Nursing Home.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bennett was a native of Bibb County, Georgia and a member of Christian Friends Baptist Church.  She was retired from the dietary department at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home.  Inez was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Entrekin; husband, Bob Bennett; sons, Jeff Hammonds and Keith Hammonds; brothers, James Entrekin, Preston Entrekin and Gene Entrekin.

Survivors include her sons, Johnny Hammonds of Warner Robins, Georgia and Charles Hammonds of Hawkinsville, Georgia; several step-children; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
