Syble Ford, 91, of Kathleen, Ga. died at her residence on Saturday, June, 6, 2009.Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville, Ga. with Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating.Burial will be in Vilula Cemetery in Dodge County.
Mrs. Ford was a native of Dodge County and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.She was a retired nurses aide.Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her husband; Shelton Ford, Jr.; son, Mark Ford Sr. and sister, Mary Laidler.
Survivors include daughters; Shelda (Mark) Jefson of Kathleen, Ga.; Sally (Bob) Kimber of Syracuse, New York and Dianne Tittle of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sons; William Thomas (Minnie) Elmore of Eastman, Ga., Bobby Elmore of Wilburton, Oklahoma, Dan (Shirley) Elmore of Lakeland, Florida and Charles Elmore of Garvett, Arkansas; sister and brother, Nadine Lynn and Dan McCranie both of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 40 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be William Elmore Jr., Ricky Sikes, Doug McCranie, Merrick Benefield, Bobby Brown and Brandon Whitley.
Visitation will befrom 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga.
