Rosa Paige Rodgers, born on November 17, 1942, in Heathsville, Virginia, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, Georgia. A beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Mrs. Rodgers leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and dedication.
A retired supervisor at Seimans Air Craft Parts, Rosa committed herself to her career and her family with equal passion. Her professional accomplishments were matched only by her profound devotion to her loved ones. She found joy not just in her work, but in the simple pleasures of life, cultivating her interests in gardening, cooking, and baking. These hobbies not only brought her happiness but also served as a means of spreading joy to those around her, often seen as a source of comfort and nurturing for family and friends.
Rosa's family was the centerpiece of her life. She is survived by her beloved husband, Payton Mike Rodgers, and their three daughters, Linda (Keith) Perkins, Helen K. Rich, and Sheila Wallet. Additionally, she cherished her two brothers, Charles Holden and Larry Tell, as well as her sisters, Thelma Courtney and Beverly Tell. Her enduring spirit will also be remembered by her grandchildren, Lenora Easter, Evonda Easter, and Derek Easter, who filled her life with indescribable joy.
A graveside service to honor Rosa's life and legacy will be held on January 24, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at Pine Bloom Cemetery, located at 101 Sixth St, Hawkinsville, GA 31036. All who knew and loved her are invited to join in paying their respects and celebrating a remarkable life well-lived.
