Roger Thompson
September 2, 1944 — January 5, 2017
Mr. Thompson was a native of Wilcox County, Ga.He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the Hawkinsville Congregation.Roger was a retired farmer.He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Edd and Ruby Hobbs Thompson; brothers, Henry (Sonny) Thompson, Hoyt Thompson and Gerald Thompson.
Survivors include his sons, Dale (Kim) Thompson of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Daniel (Betty) Thompson of Eastman, Ga., daughter, Mona Thompson of Hawkinsville, Ga.; the mother of his children, Patsy Thompson of Eastman, Ga.; sister, Eleanor (Larry) Thompson Bullock of Cordele, Ga.; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
