Ricky Gay

Ricky Gay, 64, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 20th. Ricky was a native of Cochran, Georgia and moved to Hawkinsville in the mid 1980’s. Friends are invited to greet the family during visitation at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 10a.m. until 11a.m. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ricky will begin immediately following the visitation at 11a.m. with Mr. Joey Smith officiating. The family will also be receiving friends and family at 113 Macedonia Church Road, Hawkinsville, GA 31036.

Ricky was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting, shooting doves, and fishing. He passed down his love for the outdoors to his two sons. Mr. Gay also enjoyed listening to 70’s and 80’s music while grilling or socializing. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. Frank Gay and Mattie L. Gay; sister, Linda G. Ryan and his nephew, Travin Ryan.

Survivors include his two sons, Dylan Gay and Riley Gay; sister, Pam Porterfield (Earl); several nieces, nephews and many cousins.
