Richard Ray Newman

Mr. Richard Ray Newman, 71, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 at his residence. A memorial service will be held Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jeff Waters officiating. Mr. Newman was a native of Kansas City Missouri and a member of the Baptist Faith. He was a retired Army Ranger having served 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Lorrine Steele Newman of Hawkinsville Ga.; daughters, Christy Dickinson of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Jennifer (Bill) Shultz of Dothan, Alabama; grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, and Laila Hogg.
