Peggy Kirkus Simmons

Mrs. Peggy Diane Kirkus Simmons, 67, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 in Savannah, Ga. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. James Alexander officiating.

Mrs. Simmons was born in Lexington North Carolina on February the 6 ^th , 1956 but has lived in Pulaski County her whole life, and was a member of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell Holmes and Ruby Lee Bryant Kirkus; and her husband Bob Simmons.

Survivors include her sons, Randy Duane Fordham and Cris Lee Fordham; brother, Jody Mack Aycock; sister, Mona Kirkus; and grandchild, Lee Fordham.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
