Peggy Ann Edwards

Mrs. Peggy "Pat" Edwards, age 86, left this earth and entered the presence of the Lord on March 29, 2025. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Justin Graham (retired, U.S. Air Force), and by her second husband, William “Bill” Edwards (retired, U.S. Navy).

Peggy was an LPN for several years an accomplishment of which she was very proud. She enjoyed baking, gardening, and quilting.    She was born on March 15, 1939, in Roseburg, Oregon, the beloved daughter of Lillian Mae and Charles Clifford preceded her in death. Her sister, Lila Jean, and her brother, Charles Clifford Jr., also preceded her in death.

She met Justin Graham in Alamogordo, New Mexico.  They had four daughters—Patricia (CA), Elizabeth (KS), Beverly (CA), and Michelle (FL) along with four grandchildren and seven great‑grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Years later, she met and married William “Bill” Edwards. Bill served as an air traffic controller with the Navy.  From their blended family came Bill’s daughters—Denise (preceded in death), Christine (GA), Ranae (MI), and Julie (MI)—along with seven grandchildren, and eight great‑grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Pat Edwards on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 3 p.m., with Brother Chris Holdorf officiating, at Morgan Baptist Church, 119 Church St., Morgan, GA 39866.
