Paul Travis Williams, 57, was called to his heavenly home on March 23, 2026. He
was born in Valley, Alabama on November 29th, 1968, to the late Paul Bradley
Williams, Junior and Linda Bassett Williams. Travis was a long-time resident of
Hawkinsville and a 1987 graduate of Hawkinsville High School. He then earned
his degree in graphic design from the University of Georgia. He continued his
education and attended seminary at Regent College in Vancouver, British
Columbia, where he made many lifelong friends.
Travis devoted his life to his God and to his family. He was a member of the
Dahlonega United Methodist Church and was a good and faithful servant of the
Methodist faith throughout his life. He was devoted to his family, and there was
nothing more important to him than staying in touch with loved ones. Those who
were close to Travis will miss his kind and generous nature. He will certainly be
remembered for his ability to always make friends and family feel special and
loved. While our memories of him will remain, his work and acts of kindness and
faith toward his community and family will continue to inspire us.
Travis was an avid reader. History and astronomy are just a couple of his many
interests. Travis was a natural artist and worked as an author and graphic designer
with Siretona Creative in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Travis was preceded in death by his father Paul Bradley Williams Junior. He is
survived and will be forever remembered by his loving mother Linda Bassett
Williams and his sister Carley Williams Johnson, both of Hawkinsville, his nephew
Julian Johnson and niece Athena Johnson, his Aunt Cathy (K K ) and Uncle Ricky
Turner of Valley, Alabama, Aunt Tawanna and Uncle Ed Giles of Auburn,
Alabama, and Uncle Randy Williams of Lagrange, Georgia and cousins, Ryan and
Ginger Turner of Daphne, Alabama and Austin Williams of Denver, Colorado.
The celebration of life will be at Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church. The
family will greet visitors at 2:00 on Sunday, March 29, 2026 in the sanctuary with the service beginning at
3:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations in memory of
Travis to ALS United of Georgia, 227 Sandy Springs Pl NE, Suite D Box 304,
