Mrs. Nellie Whitaker, 87, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.in the Clark Funeral Home chapel with a graveside to follow at 2 p.m. in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitaker was a native of Winchester, Mass. and a member of the Catholic faith.She was a retired employee of McCord Industries of Medford, Mass.Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Blanche Pietrantonio; son, Douglas Gordon Whitaker and several siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Hugh Marvin Whitaker of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sons, Russell (Lisa) Whitaker and Donald (Elaine) Whitaker, all of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sister, Florence Catua of Woburn, Mass; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Kyle Whitaker, Amy Whitaker, Christopher Whitaker and great-grandchild, Ava Grace Whitaker.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
