Nell Elizabeth Holtzhouser, 81, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville.Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Hawkinsville with Rev. Wayne Thornton officiating.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Holtzhouser was a native ofLakeland, Florida and a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta..She was a retired Apartment Complex Manager and also retired from Food Services of First Baptist Church of Atlanta. She loved to spend time gardening.Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Inez Shedd.

Survivors include son, Dean Holtzhouser (Beverly) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brother, Harold Shedd ofNorth Augusta, S. C.; sister, Jean Shedd Thornton of Cummings, Ga.; granddaughter, Abigail Elizabeth Holtzhouser of Hawkinsville, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
