Mary Mccasland Peyton

Mrs. Mary Magdalene McCasland Peyton, 89, a native of Hardin County, Tennessee passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Hawkinsville, Ga.  A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2023 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Morton officiating.

Mrs. Peyton was a member of  Hawkinsville Broad Street Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker and loved gardening and flowers.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Allie Pipes McCasland; step father, Wilbert Jones; son, Johnny Parker; sisters, Pauline Brawley and Betty Jones; brother, James McCasland; grandson, Stephan McWilliams and granddaughter, Stacey Parker.

Survivors include sons, Larry Parker (Alice) and Howard Peyton; daughters, Elizabeth Field (Ammon), Gwen Brown (Isaac) and Brenda Davis; brothers, George McCasland and Frankie Jones; sister, Kathy Mitchell; 5 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
