   Mrs. Marjorie Frankie Etterlee Hower, age 96, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, June 20, 2026 in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Wenger officiating.

   Mrs. Hower was a native of Blythe, Georgia and a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She had lived in Lyons, Georgia and then in Blackduck, Minnesota for 45 years and eventually moved back to Hawkinsville. Marjorie was a homemaker and always loved cooking for everyone. She also loved gardening and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Etterlee and Tempie Caraway Etterlee Taylor; Step father Horace Taylor; her husbands, R. J. Jenkins and Calvin E. Hower; sisters, Helen Blaxton, Betty Brady; brothers, Travis James, Harley Lee Taylor and H. T. Taylor.

   Survivors include her daughters, Judith Bentley (John) of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Jan Ness (Jim) of Hines, Minnesota; step-children, Kim (Tom) Jensen, Calli (Ed) Myers and Davin Hower; sisters, Juanita Wilson (John Paul) of Vidalia, Georgia; grandchildren, Suzanne, Jamie, Jon Phillip, Jared, Emory, Carrie; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alaina, Robert, Mathew, Berkleigh, Gunnin, Rudd, Nick, Lyla  and four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

   The family will greet friends at 434 Unadilla Highway, Hawkinsville, Georgia. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers, calls, visits and food.
