Lawrence John Hewitt, age 63, died on December 12, 2018 at Taylor Regional Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2018 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Daniels officiating.
Mr. Hewitt was a native of Columbus, Ohio and was a member of the Christian faith. He had been employed by Maryland Aviation Authority at BWI Airport.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Herbold Hewitt of Hawkinsville, Georgia; Father and Stepmother, William and Ann Hewitt of Vinton, Virginia; sons, Michael (Alison) Hewitt of Roanoke, Virginia, Robert (Erin) Moody of Pasedena, Maryland, Steven (Jessica) Moody of Mebore, North Carolina; daughters, Erin (Michael) Davis of Clayton, North Carolina, Jeanette (Joseph) Cook of Glen Burnie, Maryland; sister, Meri Huddleston of Vinton, Virginia and 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother,Erma D. Hewitt. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the S.P.C.A. 424 East 92nd Street, New York, New York 10128
