Larry L. Miller

Larry L. Miller, age 85, passed away on July 3, 2025 of natural causes. Born on January 19, 1940, in Noblesville, Indiana, Larry was a remarkable individual whose life was marked by accomplishments in various fields. He was an accomplished inventor and a retired stockbroker, having also ventured into the oil business during his lifetime.

A devout Christian, Larry was a member of Southside Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia. His faith was a guiding force throughout his life, and he cherished the community he found within the church.

Larry enjoyed a fulfilling retirement, during which he traveled across North America with his wife in their recreational vehicle. He settled in Melbourne, Florida, before establishing roots in Hawkinsville, Georgia, where he spent his final years.

Larry is survived by his loving daughters, Dorcas Grodner, Judith Miller, and Dianna Lopez. He also leaves behind stepsons Mark Cox and Brian Nokes, as well as his brothers: Mark Miller, Paul E. Miller, and Jonathan Miller. His sisters, Rebekah Bellis, Miriam Fry, Joanna Rojas, Mary Beth McGuire, Priscilla Thurston, and Esther Williams, along with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will undoubtedly carry Larry's legacy forward. His grandchildren include Hunter Grodner, Billy VanTassell, Daniel VanTassell, Dylan Getta, Amber Getta, Kyle Getta, Cody McCay, Sean McCay, Stephanie Nokes, and Alexas Cox.  His great-grandchildren include, Joanna Grodner, Millie Grodner, Dallie Grodner, Kellen Smalley, Maclen McCay, Paxton McCay, Kennedy Getta, Rilyn Getta, Karver Getta, and Wrenley Getta, will remember him fondly.

Larry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Harriet Miller and second wife, Beverly J. Miller; parents, Rev. Paul E. Miller and Thelma Irene Miller; his daughter, Beverly D. Miller and step-daughter, Brenda Taylor and brother, Robert Miller.

Services to remember Larry's life will be held privately by the family at a later date per his wishes. Larry L. Miller's vibrant spirit, inventive mind, and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Macon Rescue Mission. Please send to Dorcas Grodner, 107 Park Avenue, Warner Robins, GA 31088 and they will be forwarded to the Mission.
