Joseph Owens Barker

   Mr. Joseph Owen Barker, age 81, of Eastman, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.

   Joe was a native of Kentucky and a member of First Congregational Holiness Church. He worked with Wall to Wall Construction in Hawkinsville, Georgia for many years. He loved going fishing, playing the guitar, singing and Sunday car rides with his dog, Daisy.

   Joe was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, who loved his family dearly and will truly be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his son, Jesse Earl Barker.

   Survivors include his wife, Inez Barker; daughters, Peggy (Frankie) Cole, Rita Ramsey, Tracy (Gary) Breitwieser, Linda (Mick) Arnold, Jessica (Chris) Berkoben, Patricia Barker; son, William H. Barker; grandkids, Shannon (Jason) Harrell, Brian, Amy, Chris, Lacey, Alex, Kristy, Brandon, Kelsey, Matt, Michael; great-granddaughters, Khloe Parker and Sophia Parker, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

   A private service will be held at the First Congregational Holiness church at a later date.

   Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
