John L. Gatlin, Jr.

John L. Gatlin Jr., Age 84 of Russellville, Kentucky Passed away Friday, June 5th, 2026 at the Medical Center of Russellville. He was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia on March 10th, 1942 to the late John Leroy Gatlin Sr. and Azalee Hardy Gatlin. He was a member of the United Methodist Temple where he participated in the United Methodist Mens Group, was a member of the Rotary Club and retired from Logan Aluminum. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Lolette Powell Gatlin. Gatlin Jr. will be conducted at 12:30 PM on Tuesday June 9th, 2026 at the United Methodist Temple with Rev. Michael Nichols officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the church on Tuesday will be held from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 12:30 PM.
