Jerry Lynn Tingle Wells

Mrs. Jerry Lynn Tingle Wells, 72, of Pineview, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta, Ga.  There are no services at this time.

Mrs. Wells was a native of Clanton, Alabama and a member of Haven Fellowship Church in Conyers, Georgia.  She was a retired Middle School teacher having worked for the Cordele school system.  She loved the antique business and was the owner of a shop in Vienna, Ga.  She was the 1969 Homecoming queen for Therrell High School in Atlanta, Ga.  Jerry was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Mable Camp Tingle; son, Jordan Camp Wells; sister, Janice Karr and brother, James Tingle.

Survivors include her husband, Walter C. Wells of Pineview, Ga.; sons, Walter C. Wells, IV (Rebecca), Tyler Davis Wells (Maggie), Noah James Wells (Andrea); brother, John Davis Tingle of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; two nephews and 14 grandchildren.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
