Hazel Coody Wynne, age 74, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on January 3, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Wynne will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 3p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Waters officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wynne was a native of Pulaski County and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville. She was a retired Civil Service worker at Robins Air Force Base and also spent several years as secretary for Chris Motors and Carl Stowe & Associates. Hazel was a homemaker and a caregiver to her family and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Wynne; parents, Howard and Ida Mae Coody; daughter, Deborah K. Wynne and brothers, John Ellis Coody and Jerry Coody.
Survivors include her sons, Kelly (Anna) Wynne of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Danny (Melissa) Wynne of Claxton, Georgia; brothers, Albert Coody of Warner Robins, Georgia, Olin (Barbara) Coody of Cochran, Georgia and David ( Susan) Coody of Bonaire, Georgia; sisters, Linda Henderson of Albany, Georgia, Sheryl C. (Jimmy) Graham of Dublin, Georgia, Evelyn C. (Peyton) Smith of Columbus, Georgia and sister-in-law, Linda Coody of Hawkinsville, Georgia. Hazel is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
