Fred "Jimmy" Thompson

Mr. Thompson was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of the Baptist faith.He retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and the Georgia Department of Corrections.He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Thompson; parents, Fred and Alma Thompson and a sister, Marlene Pettis.
Survivors include his sons, Doug (Penny) Thompson of Perry, Ga., Fred Thompson, III of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Jennifer Scott of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sister, Judy (Junior) Mathis of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Doug Thompson, Fred Thompson, Joseph Thompson, Chris Thompson, Pierce Thompson and Ben Noles.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
