Fred "Benny" Graham

Mr. Fred Benjamin (Benny) Graham, age 77, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2025 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Mark White and Mr. Whitney Hill officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. before the service.

Benny was a native of Houston County, Georgia and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He was retired having worked 30-plus years as a control engineer with Cemex Corporation. He loved golf, fishing, drag racing and hunting arrow heads. Benny proudly served in the U. S. Army during 1969-1971. He was injured during the TET Offensive and was awarded the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. Mr. Graham was preceded in death by his parents, Fred H. and Bessie Williamson Graham; brothers, Billy Graham, Eschol Graham, Fred Graham, Algron Graham, Felton Graham, Jimmy Graham, Robert Ricks; sister, Helen Graham; maternal grandmother, Annie Lou Williamson; paternal grandfather, Jordan Graham.

Survivors include his wife, Diana M. Graham of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughters, Erica L. Graham of Newberry, South Carolina and Christina N. Graham of Byron, Georgia; brother, Robert Graham of Augusta, Georgia; sisters, Paula (Ralph) Harrell of Opelika, Alabama, Alice Bird of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mary Shumate of Warner Robins, Georgia; niece, Nikki (Kelly) Rowland of Leonardtown, Maryland great-nieces, Harley Hattaway of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Jordan (Kenny) Nilson of Opelika, Alabama and his beloved pet companion, Rhett Butler Graham.

The family will accept friends at their residence: 120 Watson Street, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31016.
