Edna M. White, 94, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died due to a massive stroke on Tuesday, February 23, 2010in Taylor Regional Hospital of Hawkinsville.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Westview Baptist Church with visitation immediately following the service.Rev. Freddie Rhodes will officiate.Burial will be at Panther Fork Cemetery, Iuka, Illinois.

Mrs. White was a native of Marion County, Illinois and a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon, Illinois.She worked at the Mode-O-Day Clothing Store before retirement.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie W. White, two brothers, a sister and her parents.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Wall of Hawkinsville, Ga.; granddaughter, Kim Bishop (Bill) of Alpharetta, Ga.; great-grandsons, Cody and Garrett Bishop of Alpharetta, Ga.

Pallbearers will be Bill Bishop, Cody Bishop, Garrett Bishop, Dusty Cantrell, Joshua Cantrell, Jacob Cantrell, Don McCowan and Bill Harton.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
