Dorothy Louise Dunaway, 83, ofUnadilla, Ga. diedWednesday, February 24, 2010 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2010 at Harmony Baptist Church with visitation before the service from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the church.Rev. Jeff Dykes will officiate.Burial will be in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
Mrs. Dunaway was a native of Telfair County, Ga. and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.She was a graduate of Crandall Business College and was a homemaker.Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Eugene Dunaway.
Survivors include daughter, Nancy (Billy) Cape of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Grandsons, William Brian (Melissa) Cape and Christopher Lawrence (Leona) Cape, both of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 5 great-grandchildren, Brianna Cape, Brett Cape, Brooks Cape, Dallas Cape and Brice Cape.
Pallbearers will be Brian Cape, Christopher Cape, Royce Cross, Larry Hudson and Brian Barron.
Flowers will be accepted, but the family requests that donations be made to Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery Fund.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
