   Don Nations, age 68, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away peacefully July 14, 2026 at Savannah Memorial Health in Savannah, Ga.. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

   Don was a native of Hawkinsville and loved fishing and camping on the river, spending time family, friends and his canine companion “Bud”. He was an excellent cook and loved gardening; Don worked for Alexander Roofing as a roofer for many years and was a “damn fine” roofer.

   Don was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings; he survived by his brother, Grover Thompson; sisters, Emma Smith of Hawkinsville, Joyce Ann Thompson of Hawkinsville and Carol Sue Burton of Sandersville, Ga.

   Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
