David Marc Phelps

Mr. David Marc Phelps, 50, of Unadilla, Georgia passed away on Thursday,
September 26, 2024 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11:00
A.M. on Friday, October 4, 2024 in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home in
Hawkinsville. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. before the
service begins. Reverend Allen Mullis and Mr. Gene Blackstone will officiate.
Mr. Phelps was a native of Houston County but was raised in Pulaski County,
where he graduated Hawkinsville High School in 1992 and was a member of
Broad Street Baptist Church. He was an electrician at Frito Lay. Marc loved
fishing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and picking on his sister, Nicole.
Marc is preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry Buck Bell, David Wilson
Phelps and Johnnie Mae Phelps, his step-mother Joyce Elaine Phelps, Uncles Earl
Wayne Phelps and Richard Bruce Phelps, Aunt Martha Gwendolyn Phelps England
and step-brother Kelly Bowen.
Marc’s survivors include his daughter, Kayla Michelle Phelps of Tennessee, son,
David Logan Phelps of Atlanta, his father, David Timothy Phelps of Byromville,
Georgia, his mother Barbara Louise Phelps of Hawkinsville, Georgia, his sister
Laurie Nicole (Ken) Dobson of Bonaire, GA, his brother Troy Jackson (Jayme)
Phelps of Cochran, GA, step-brother Koby Bowen of Byromville, GA,
grandmother Barbara Jean Bell of Hawkinsville, GA, Aunts Coni Phelps of
Hawkinsville, GA, Pat (Jimmy David) Rhodes of Hawkinsville, GA, Judy (Barry)
Peacock of Pineview, GA, nieces Brittany Nicole (Alex) Beard of Kathleen, GA,
Illy Phelps of Cochran, GA, Rebekah Kay Bowen of Elko, GA, Sabrina Bowen
and Samantha Bowen of Byromville, GA, nephews Brandon Douglas Gore of
Warner Robins, GA, Brady Fletcher Gore of Warner Robins, GA, James David
Phelps of Cochran, GA, Dakota Bowen of Byromville, GA and great-niece Aubree
Nicole Beard of Kathleen, Ga along with many cousins.
