Cynthia McDowell Butler

Mrs. Cynthia McDowell Butler, aged 67, of Albany, Georgia, peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Pruitt Health in Albany. In honoring her wishes, there will be no services held.

A proud native of Georgia, Mrs. Butler was a devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Americus. She had a fulfilling career as a registered nurse, contributing her skills and compassion to the healthcare field. Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lance Butler of Americus; her daughter, Christy Martin of Savannah; her brother, James McDowell of Dothan, Alabama; and two cherished grandchildren.

Mrs. Butler will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and the love she shared with her family and community.
