Clarence McKenzie Spears, 94, of Pineview, Ga. passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010. Graveside services will be April 15, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Pineview, Ga. with Rev. Blake Westbrook officiating.

Mr. Spears was a native of Crisp County, Ga. and a member and deacon of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.Mr. Spears was saved and baptized 57 years ago in Double Run, Ga.He lived at his old home place in Pineview Ga. for 54 years having retired from Warner Robins AFB being the only person that could set bomb sites on B52's.He was a U. S. Army Veteran.Before and after retirementhe spent his time farming, cutting hair and doing watch repair.He was preceded in death by his wife, Earlene Huckaby Spears, his parents, Rabon and Julia Spears, 2 grandchildren, Hugh and Deanna and 8 siblings.

Survivors include sons, Tommy (Myra) Spears of Summerville, S. C., Danny (Donna) Spears of Montgomery, Ala., Jimmy Spears (Tammie Clements) of Pineview, Ga.; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Carol, Jennifer and Jenna and 7 great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted, but donations may be made to the Oaks Community Church Building Fund, Pineview.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 at Clark Funeral Home.They may be contacted at their residence, 116 Richland Church Road in Pineview, Ga.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
