Charles Franklin "Bud" Curry, 85, of LaGrange, formerly of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at his residence.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Orange Hill Cemetery with Dr. Kelly Pritchett officiating.
Mr. Curry was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hawkinsville.He was the retired owner and operator of Curry's Service Station in Hawkinsville.Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Franklin Curry and Louise Bowen Curry and brothers, John Curry and Billy Curry.
Survivors include his wife, Lottie Curry of LaGrange, Ga.; daughter, Kathy Curry Bryant and son-in-law, Billy Bryant, both of LaGrange, Ga.; brothers, Beau (Mary) Curry of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sister, Peggy Chafin of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandson, Adam (Cindy) Bryant of LaGrange, Ga. and one great-granddaughter, Mary Kahlen Bryant.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hatcher Way, Gary Proctor, Johnny Curry, Tommy Curry, Ted Laster, Keith Richardson and Tom Curry.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at Clark Funeral Home.
