Casey Douglas Carnell was born on September 27, 1971, in Manassas, Virginia, and passed away on April 15, 2025, at Atrium Navicent Medical Center in Macon, Georgia, due to complications from esophageal cancer. In his final moments, he was surrounded by the love of his wife, Joy Carnell (Mackley), his daughter, Natasha Victoria Rossi (Carnell), and his son, Dominic Giovanni Carnell.Casey was a man's man—a jack of all trades, a hard worker, and a beloved friend to many. He was a man who believed in the value of hard work, the importance of perseverance, and the power of determination. Throughout his life, he took pride in his many accomplishments, from building a career in the plumbing industry to volunteering his time in Mexico. Perhaps his greatest accomplishment was achieving the American dream through his own dedication, sacrifice, and relentless work ethic.Casey truly believed that with enough blood, sweat, and tears, anything was possible. He lived by those words, working hard to build a life he could be proud of and a legacy that would live on through the people he loved. His strength, resourcefulness, and determination were a testament to the kind of man he was, and his impact will not be forgotten by those whose lives he touched.Casey is survived by his loving wife, Joy Carnell (Mackley); his daughter, Natasha Victoria Rossi (Carnell); his son, Dominic Giovanni Carnell; his son-in-law, James Kody Rossi; and his cherished grandson, Louis James Rossi. He is also survived by his mother, Nathalie Elizabeth Carmell Claseman.Casey was cremated at Clark's Funeral Home in Hawkinsville, Georgia.Though he may be gone, the lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the love he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His life was a testament to hard work, resilience, and the belief that anything is possible with enough determination.May he rest in peace. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
