Mrs. Quick was a native of Waynesboro, Ga. and a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church.She was a former member of the Eastern Star and a homemaker.Betty was preceded in death by her parents, DeLaigle Buster Hickman and Annie Powell Hickman; sister Bobbie Perkins and son-in-law, J. H. Goodroe, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Quick of Hawkinsville, Ga., son, Ronnie (Linda) Quick of Pineview, Ga.; daughters, Paulette Goodroe of Pineview, Ga. and Laurie Ann Quick of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brothers, Robert (Linda) Hickman of Waynesboro, Ga. and DeLaigle Hickman of Augusta, Ga.; brother-in-law, James Perkins of Florida; 6 grandchildren, Cassie (Andrew) Whiggum of Hawkinsville, Ga., Jacob Quick of Macon, Ga., Lia (Randall) Evans of Perry, Ga., Mori (Patrick) Harris of Byron, Ga., Abby (Drew) Hammonds of Bonaire, Ga. and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, Macon, Ga., Georgia Baptist Children's Home or to the Georgia Methodist Children's Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
