Betty Jean Goodroe McDaniel

Mrs. Betty Jean Goodroe McDaniel, age 88, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026 at her daughter’s residence in Perry, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2026 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with visitation to begin from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins. Rev. Barry Teutsch will officiate. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. McDaniel was a native of Houston County, Georgia and a member of the Westview Baptist Church. Betty loved spending time with her family. She loved to cook, garden and go camping. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard T. and Jennie Todd Goodroe; siblings, Richard T. Goodroe, Joseph Goodroe, Ervin Goodroe, Steve Goodroe, Jim Goodroe, Joe B. Goodroe and Fannie Ruth Adkins.

Survivors include her sons, Eddie McDaniel (Cathy), Glynn McDaniel; daughter, Gail McDaniel Boehm (Chuck); grandchildren, Amanda G. Reed, William Boehm, Tiffany (Matt) Jolly, Jonathan (Myranda) McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Kaylee N. Reid, Charlee Kate Jolly and Josie Jolly.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
