Mrs. Betty L. Collins, 95, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Monday, April 28, 2014 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in the Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Andrews officiating.Burial will be in the Powers Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins was a native of Ryder, North Dakota and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.She was a homemaker.Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Paul C. Collins.Mrs. Collins enjoyed attending the Pulaski County Senior Center every day that she could.
Survivors include a son, David (Geny) Collins of Eatonton, Ga.; daughters, Bonnie (Stan) Sharp of Atlanta, Ga. and Kay Collins (David Starrett) of Fort Washington, Maryland.; brother, Loren Bowers of Sherwood, North Dakota; grandchildren, Philip Collins, Laura Summerour, Kelsey Sharp, Jenna Sharp; two great-grandchildren, Jack Collins and Samuel Collins.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Holmes, Philip Collins, Gary Giles, Trenton Dowdy, Robert Lancaster and Joey Johnson.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
