                                                                     Born January 8, 1933 - Died July 26, 2026

    Parents- Henry Columbus Owens & Exell Nation Owens.

    Proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Mrs. Agnes Fordham Owens, they were married 66 years, and by brothers, H. C. Owens Jr., John Morris Owens and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Nelson, two grandchildren, Joshua Owens and Jenifer Howard

    He served in the U. S. Army; He was a Truck Driver for Schwerman Company until his retirement. He was a good Christian Man, a member of Riverside Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

    He is survived by his sons, Dennis Owens of Columbia S. C., Allen (Mia) Owens of Charleston S. C. and daughter, Sarah (Mike) May of Hawkinsville, Ga.

    He had 13 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 37 great-great grandchildren.

    A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at Riverside Baptist Church, S. Houston St. Hawkinsville, Ga. 31036.
