A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 22, 2019 at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens, U.S. Hwy 129 Alt, Cochran, Ga., 31014
Albert was born July 31, 1943 to Luther Doc ("L. D.") Holder and Janie Ruthell Holder in Hall County, Ga.He grew up in Hawkinsville, Ga. and later moved to Lake Sinclair in Eatonton, Ga.Albert served in the United States Air Force and retired from Robins Air Force Base in 1993 after 31 years of service.Following retirement he worked part-time for Hallman Wood Products in Eatonton, Ga.Albert was a membor of Mount Hope 9, Grand Lodge of Georgia F. & A. M.
Albert was preceded in death by his father L. D. Holder, brother Doyle Holder, and sisters Deborah Mortez and Ann Holder.
Albert is survived by his mother Janie Ruthell Holder; three children: Donald (Lana) Holder, Pansy (Greg) Mullis and Jay (Aida) Holder; four grandchildren: Chad "Alex" Scruggs, Marissa Holder, Wesley Holder, and Jacob Holder; two great-grandchildren; a brother Douglas (Martha) Holder; several nieces and a nephew; his long-time companion Judy Barker;her children: Jennifer (Cliff) Collins and Niki Barker; grandchildren: Samantha, Jessica and Levi Collins; as well as many close and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Serenity Hospice
Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
